Pay Raise Calculator
Calculate the new salary after a raise as a percentage or fixed amount, with a before/after comparison.
Tip: A 5% raise on a salary of 60,000 lek/month = 3,000 lek more, or 36,000 lek/year — but also calculate the effect on taxes.

About this digital tool
The pay raise calculator works out the new salary when you increase it by a percentage or a fixed amount, and shows the before and after comparison, monthly and yearly. Enter the current salary and the raise, and the tool gives the new salary, the monthly and yearly difference and the percentage increase. Formula: new salary = current salary × (1 + raise ÷ 100).
It is useful when negotiating a raise, when comparing a new job offer or when you want to understand what a raise is really worth after inflation. Don't forget that because of progressive tax and contributions, the net raise is smaller than the gross one. The result is an estimate; use the net salary calculator for the amount left in hand.
How to use
- Enter your current monthly salary.
- Choose whether the raise is a percentage or a fixed amount and enter the value.
- See the new salary and the monthly and yearly difference.
- Use the net salary calculator to see how much remains after tax.
Frequently asked questions
What is the average annual salary increase?
In Albania the average annual increase in wages has been 3–7% in recent years, but it depends on the sector and inflation.
How is the new salary calculated after a percentage raise?
Multiply the salary by (1 + raise ÷ 100). For a salary of 80,000 lek and a 10% raise, the new salary is 88,000 lek.
How do I find the percentage raise from two salaries?
Subtract the old salary from the new one, divide by the old one and multiply by 100. From 70,000 to 77,000 lek the raise is 10%.
Is the net raise the same as the gross one?
No. Part goes to contributions and tax, and the portion above the thresholds is taxed at a higher rate, so the net raise is smaller than the gross one.
