About this digital tool
The working days calculator counts how many working days there are between two dates, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and the official holidays listed in the tool. Choose the start and end date and get the working days, the total number of days, the weekends and the holidays excluded.
The count includes both the start date and the end date. The tool uses the holidays included in the calculator for the country; holidays that move each year (e.g. some religious holidays) should be verified. It suits calculating work deadlines, notice periods, leave or daily pay. For legal matters or contracts, always check the Labour Code and official decisions.
How to use
- Choose the start and end date.
- The calculator excludes weekends and official holidays.

Frequently asked questions
Are official holidays excluded automatically?
Yes — the official holidays of Albania or Kosovo (depending on region) are excluded automatically.
Are the start and end dates included in the count?
Yes, the interval is counted inclusively on both sides. If both dates are working days, each is counted.
Are holidays that move each year taken into account?
The tool uses the list of holidays in its database. For holidays with variable dates, check the official decisions for the relevant year.
How do I calculate the number of working days in a month?
Choose the first and last day of the month. The calculator removes weekends and holidays and gives you the working days.
