About this digital tool

The basic online calculator performs the four fundamental operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, as well as percentage, sign change (±) and deleting the last digit. Press the buttons on screen or use the keyboard; the result appears instantly and recent calculations are saved in a history.

The calculator respects the order of operations: multiplication and division are done before addition and subtraction, so 2 + 3 × 4 gives 14. The result is rounded to 10 decimal places, so calculations such as 0.1 + 0.2 show as 0.3. It works on phone and computer, with no installation. It suits everyday calculations, shopping, the household budget and simple homework.
